You might want to inform your list members that somewhere in RootsWeb there is a virus list - If anyone wants to get this type of notice they can signup. ===== ===== ===== Several subscribers pointed out that with MS Outlook Express it is possible with private mail to get attacked by worms that use self executing html codes. Most Virus programs have e-mail options to avoid this type of event. I also understand that there is a patch available on the Microsoft site to fix the problem. Again I stress that you can't get these through list mail, as RootsWeb either bounces mail with html or translates it to plain text. ****** ****** ****** It will be two years this week since Chester Cowan first started this list. We currently have 110 List mode subscribers and 35 on Digest mode. During the period, we have also had about 70 join and leave List mode and about 40 join and leave Digest mode. In year one we had about 300 messages, and in year two with the addition of the GenWeb query board posts we will have about 500 messages.
