    3. Dee I asked a similar question a year or so ago, in relation to my g.g. grandfather, Peter TAYLOR, who was described as a quarryman when he died in Rothesay in 1861. The consensus, as I recall it, was that there were several quarries where he might have worked but that there was no way of pinning down one in particular. Would be interested to know if you hear differently.
