Go to <www.rootsweb.com> for Archives and look under the years 2000, 1999 and 1998 on the SCOTLAND-GENWEB-L and also the Scotch-Irish-L (this contains many Scots who migrated to Northern Ireland {Ulster}); additionally, Northern Ireland had its own coal fields and may have been a source for coal to Arran.
