If replies go only to individuals, we actually lose much of the list's real value." ****** ****** ****** Obliquely continuing on the theme of what you can pick up from a list - one item that shouldn't be forwarded to the list is virus warnings. These should always be forwarded to the list maintainer in the first instance - if necessary, the message can be passed on to the list under a suitable title. Reason for the reminder - the "Budweiser frogs" hoax has resurfaced - for new members this hoax "virus warning" has been around since 1997.
