As far as I am aware, the only source for the next census to be released (currently 1901) is the PRO in London. The 1901 census for England and Wales will be available next year. It is going to on the web for a fee. I believe the 1901 census for Scotland has been out for a long time and is available at the Scottish Record Office in Edinburgh. /cheers Pat ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Cook" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2001 12:31 PM Subject: Re: 1901 Census availability > As far as I am aware, the only source for the next census to be > released (currently 1901) is the PRO in London. > > Peter > > -----Original Message----- > From: Ian Murray <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] <[email protected]> > Date: Tuesday, 27 February 2001 23:28 > Subject: Re: Sunday morning musings #92 - delayed due RootsWeb > down-time charset="iso-8859-1" > > > Hi all, > > On 25 Feb 2001, at 19:27, Peter Cook wrote: > > > 1901 is due for release on 2 Jan 2001, after which the 1911 will be > > accessible for confirmation only of a specific person at specific > > address (for a fee).
