Hi all and a belated Happy New Year, I had the pleasure of participating in the 2000 Census, I know now how difficult it is for people to find their families. The census taker spelled my name wrong and even after spelling it 3 times he nearly copied it wrong, I offered to write it for him but he protected the form like it was his first born.<BG> Also this is this first time in my almost 50 years that my family was ever asked to partake in the census, just think the trouble my future relatives might have with a 50 year time gap. <VBG> Surname for my family in my search has been Spelled in these various ways on documents I have, SCULLION, SCALLON, SCALLAN, SCALLEN, AND IN THE 1891 Census was spelled SCHOLAN. IT'S KNOW WONDER WE HAVE TROUBLE.
