Mrs. Betty KENNY has recently made me aware that we may be of help to each other. I am researching MARTIN and HALL in Kingarth and Rothesay, and it turns out that Betty's gf, John CRAWFORD MARTIN, is a sibling of one of my collaterals, one Helen MARTIN who married Archibald HALL 9 June 1844 in Kingarth. John and Helen's parents were James MARTIN and Jean CRAWFORD. So, Charles and Bill, if you are interested, (as well as anyone else who may be) I am interested in sharing my data on Helen MARTIN's line. She is connected to me thru her dtr, Jane CRAWFORD HALL who married an Irishman named John McNAIR in Australia. Their dtr was Helen MARTIN MCNAIR, who married David BAIRD LINDSAY in Lanark.
