    3. I am new to the list but have been researching since 1976. I descend from Paulser Butcher who was born 26 Jan 1753 in Frederick Co.,MD as Balthaser Metzger. He was the s/o Georg Valentin Metzger b. 19 Apr 1715 Mainzweiler, Germany and Maria Elisabeth Kieffert, who m. 6 Dec 1739 Niederlinxweiler, Germany (Saarland area). We have this family back two more generations. Paulser went into western VA and the Butcher family remained in WV forever. Happy to exchange material.
