George, There is a very wide gap of age between John who died in 1707 and your Samuel, Sr., who, Gibbens says, was in the thirties of age when serving in the Indian war in 1750s. It is highly unlikely that they are father - son. Where did you get the information that John was born in "1651?" By the way, does the will of John show the name of his wife?
