Hello Doris: My line of Butchers were in New Jersey, until my ggggrandfather Amos Butcher migrated to Louisiana aroun 1815. He came with two brothers, William and Isdaac Randolph. A sister, Euphemia Butcher, b. 7/24/1822, in N. J. went to Glenwood Iowa and was married to F. Henry Evernham. She died in Glenwood 8/01/1904. Other children, John, Eliza and Thomas could have possibly migrated to Iowa also, but I do not know for a fact. I presume you do not go back further than the ones you listed. Again, my problem is that I cannot go back beyond Thomas and Ann Bissonette (Bisnet.) in the mid 1700's in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, Louisiana is a bit far from Penn. for me to actually do the necessary legwork. Thanks and Good Luck in your hunt! Tom Butcher
