Dear ino2: Our Isaac N. Butcher..(I think the middle name is Newton) son of William Butcher and 2 wife, Sadona/ Ladena/ Hancock Brown Butcher ..b Greenburg , Decatur Co, IN in early 1840s. Isaac fought in Civil War along with 4 of his b rothers and survived. My 2ggrandfather was his brother John Bryant Butcher. They moved to Howard Co, IN in the 1850s and William d there in 1868, John in 1919. Is this your line too? I met another desc of Isaac in the list.. Alicia in FL
