William's 1st wife was Mary Butcher.. I don't know anything about them. Mine: William Butcher (b 1804, VA) m 2. Sadonie/a Hancock Brown (b 1810 KY) --settled first in Decatur CO, IN 1853, moved to Howard Co and farmed til 189 4-5 when he died. I read his name in 1830 & 1840 census Decatur CO, WILLIAM and WILLIAM C...? My g- grandfather JOHN Bryant, was born there along with his 2 older brothers(?) (step(?) don't know who is who yet. Saul Theodore(b 1834) , George Washington,(b1830) step brothers: Abraham P. and Isaac M. and 3 more--- These 5 names were the .only ones listed in MORROW"S "HISTORY of Howard CO. and in Blanchard's " History of Howard Co, 1883. Ervin Township I don't know the others' names-- Abraham, Isaac T, Saul T, John B, George W. BIll Butcher had 5 sons by his first wife, 3 by Sadona. Which ones are hers, I don't know. I think George and Saul cause they're listed in 1860..but...?
