In the will, John says that he wills and bequeaths a mare to "Alexander Quee & Mary Parker". I find this very interesting and curious. My question is: Is it possible that either Alexander Quee or Mary Parker was John Boutcher's relative in 1707. If so, how? Somewhere Alexander's surname was spelled as "Mecee" -- maybe for "McGee". Also, about the surname "Huffty" (see "Benjamin Huffty and Charles Huffty" in the first paragraph above). This is the surname of John Boutcher's daughter Mary's husband John Husty. In the early days in England and Germany, one wrote "S" for "ff". Regards, Jean
