Last year I got on line and it created new interest. My gg- grandfather was John Butcher b Feb. 12 1781. He md.12/9/1807 to Elizabeth Rohr daug. of John Rohr and Ann Helmentoler in Rockingham Co. Va. They had 3 daughters born in Va. Sarah,Elizabeth, Mary Jane. They moved to Cheshire Twp. Gallia Co. Oh. in 1813 and had 5 sons Samuel, George, Jacob, Jonas and John, then moved to Jay Co. In. Where he died Sept. 26 1884. Any help would be greatly appreciated as to the parents of John Butcher. (W) VA. This Butcher came from Philadelphia Co., PA and is named
