Shirley, I have UNVERIFIED information that gives a 1649 marriage for Elizabeth BUTCHER and Edward PERKINS of New Haven CT. The only portion I have verified (secondarily) is from Donald Lines Jacobus' book "Families of Ancient New Haven" which confirms a marriage date of 20 Mar 1649. There is no birthdate given for Elizabeth and she is the only BUTCHER listed in the entire index. The book lists children: John, Mehitabel, Jonathan, and David.
