From early tax lists, there appear to be 4 brothers present - James, Isaac, George and Samuel, Jr. - indicating their father was Samuel, Sr. (also present on the tax lists in the early 1790's). Has anyone found other documents that support or expand on this information? James Butcher was b c1774 and Isaac was b c1776 in Virginia.
