HUMOR. The difference between a geologist and a genealogist is that one digs in the dirt and sometimes find artifacts, while the other digs in facts and sometimes finds dirt. Lola Butcher Given lolabgiven@citynet.net>
I am grasping at straws here. I know my grandfather is getting quite elderly. Tho' I've been told he's a "hermit" and prefers to be left alone. My desire is so great to make contact with him. I've never met him before, etc... In the last few emails I've received, I've mentioned him a few times in my replies, as far as genealogical info. and my curiousity is piqued once more. I'm going to post his name, last known residence, his siblings names and I'm begging if it's familiar to anyone, could you contact me please? I've been at a wall for so long. I know my grandfather was last known as living in the Sacramento California area. He would be 88 and turn 89 now in July. His name is Lawrence Verle Butcher known as Larry, last I knew his last wife was Josephine Beneke His siblings: Laurel Jean Butcher married Patrick Vincent Comerford Rosemary Butcher married Frank DuPee Birch Robert Butcher married Esther E. Bowe Ethel Frances Butcher married Ray Riley Munkres Kenneth Dean Butcher married margaret Elizabeth Shaffer Ralph Loris Butcher married Lorraine Guelfo I'd love to hear from anyone. Thanks bunches guys, Hugs, Sandy
