James Robert Buster is the son of Thomas Sumpter Buster and Mary Todd. Grandfather Thomas Sumpter Buster is the son of Claudius Buster and Dorcas Sumpter Franklin. (Dorcas was erroneously reported by the DAR to be Dorcas Sumpter, daughter of Thomas C. "Swamp Fox" Sumpter, but she is actually the daughter of John Benjamin Franklin and Patience Sumpter - "Swamp Fox" was her uncle.) The Moffets don't even enter the picture.
