Elwood is said to be born in CO, while his sister was born in IL; their father was born in OK, mother in IL. From the sons, living with Minnie in 1920, I was able to locate the family in 1900. John and Minnie Bosomworth (Minnie's first marriage) had 5 children, 2 of which are dau; Margaret Ethel, born Apr 1896 and Minnie Angeline born Nov 1898, both in IL. Due to Elwood and Juanita living with (what I suspect) their maternal grandmother, I imagine the parents, Frank & ??? probably died before 1920. I hope this may help in your search.
