I am trying to find her parents and/or siblings. Vital's: Born: 5 Mar. 1883 (According to tombstone and obituary.) Place: Russell County, KY (according to some children's birth records) or: Wayne County, KY (according to obituary.) Married: 5 Mar. 1905 to Robert Francis Buster. Died: 3 Jul. 1971 (tombstone, obituary) Place: Mendota, La Salle, Illinois. (according to obituary.) Here is what I know: According to her obituary, her parents were John McFarland and Rachel Malone. Her obituary listed that two brothers and two sisters had preceded her in death. I POSSIBLY know that one of the sisters may have been Elizabeth McFarland (b. 1871) but have no definitive proof. I have not been able to find her on the 1900 census under the last name McFarland or Malone. Between the years 1910 and 1930 she lived in Wayne County, Kentucky. In 1940 she was living in Woodson, Morgan, Illinois. Her mother may have possibly married a second time to a man named Pet Davis. No information on him or their marriage. They may have possibly had a son named Oscar Vernon Malone, born in 1896 in Russell County, Kentucky. I am still searching for the obituary's of Elizabeth and Oscar.
