Buster and Mary F. Thomas on 10-18-1857 in Allen County Kentucky. (Also a marriage between a Charles Buster and Lucinda C. Long on 9-2-1852) The 1870 and 1880 census shows Charles W. and Mary F. Buster with the following members of the household: 1870 (Allen County, KY): Margrett age 16, Benjamin T. age 12, Sarah C. age 10, Lucy G. age 8, Mary E. age 6, Walter C. age 4, James age 2. 1880: ( Barren County, KY) Benjamin T. age 21, Sarah age 19, Lucy age 18, Mary E. age 16, Charles W. age 14, James age 11, Fannie age 8, William age 6. I don't know if this Mary F. Thomas is the same as your Elizabeth Thomas or not. And I don't know if this couple is the same couple who married in that county. I tried to find an Elizabeth Buster in the census, but could not find one married to a Charles Buster.

Hi, I am descended from Mary Jane Buster daughter of William Bustard, Jr and Jane Woods. Mary married James Jones in Wythe Co, VA. Both died in Wayne Co, KY. I have a picture of both of them taken in 1849. James' older sister married Mary's older brother Charles. On one of my trips to Ireland I met a William Bustard. He told me where the Bustards arrived in No. Ireland from England. Also met a Bustard in New Jersey whose Aunt still lives in No. Ireland. Recently a woman wrote me saying her uncle told her the family were Hugenots. Nonsense! The English are reintroducing the Bustard bird to the Salisbury plains. Hi Terri, I am working, not that aggressivly, on the line that starts with Archibald Buster. He was my G-G-Grandfather and is buried in Rockport, MO. I have some info on his ancestors, but it is not clear in my mind just yet. If anyone thinks I may have something specific to share; just ask. HTH!! Hi everyone, I know there are not many on this list, but I would sure love to hear from you! If you could let me know what Buster line you are working on, that would be great. Thanks! Terri Buster List Manager
Hi, John Turner Buster was my great, great grandfather. He may have been an orphan because I can't seem to find out anything about his parents. His great grandson, my father, John W. Buster passed away 2 years ago at age 96 in Nashville, Arkansas.
Hi, I am looking for information on the following family: John Turner Buster born about 1858 in Arkansas Married Zilpha Jane Barnes about 1878 in Arkansas. Resided in Pike County Arkansas in 1880 census, with one son, William L. born December 1879. Would like to find out if or how he might connect to any of the sons of John and Jane Beattie Buster who came to Arkansas. Thanks, Terri Buster List Manager
