I am looking for information about the Bushell line that emigrated from the UK to Canada and then to the USA. My ancestor Stephen Bushell, was listed in a Census as born around 1806 or 1808 in Canada, and that both of his parents were Canadian. Do you know if there was a wave of immigration in the late 1700's because if he was born in 1806 in Canada, his parents must have emmigrated in the 1700's. Am searching through records to try and find his birth record in Canada to find out his parents names to continue the search. Any information would be helpful. Have read that Bushells come from Kent?
