I am Yilin, a student from British Columbia, Canada. I am greatly inspired by Violette Szabo's contributions and sacrifices. We're doing a research project called the Eminent Person Project, and I decided to research more about the life of Violette Szabo. Eminent Person Project is a research project where we have to choose a person and learn about him/her. We have to tell our audience why we chose our eminent person, and why he/she is eminent/notable. I chose to research more about Violette Szabo because I admire her dedication, courage, and her influence to the world. I believe Violette Szabo is a great inspiration to the world, because she shown us what true determination, bravery and strength is. I am interested in Violette Szabo's life and her missions, and I read Tania's book: Young Brave and Beautiful, it was a touching and motivating novel. I would like to learn more about Violette Szabo's life before she joined SOE, her missions, her decisions and motivations, and it would be a great honor if I can have an interview with you.
