My BUSHELL's were born in HACKNEY MIDDLESEX ENGLAND. Frances's mother was Elizabeth Frances Wright. I am assuming she is my descendant as she had a sister Alice Bushell which was my G.grandmother's maiden name. I have no knowledge of any emigrating as my Grandmother never went back to London or spoke of her mother or family , we feel that there was ill feeling as they were placed in an Industrial School and possibly not wanted if Alice did re-marry. Here is my E-mail address if you wish to get in touch. tonjulm@aol.com All the best Julie Moss

Hello John, In my Bushell searching I have found a family of Benjamin Bushell and Ann Sage of Trunch Norfolk who have children: William born 25 October 1786 and christened 29 October 1786, and Benjamin born 24 December 1787 christened 26 December 1787. This seems a bit different from your William and Ann Sage. Maybe together we can work it out. My major research is for a Joshua Bushell born 1796c who was living in Hackney London about 1816. I just can't find any information about him. I do not know if he was from Norfolk.
