I have been able to contact many of the still-living Busch's and gather more family information. Unfortunately none of them had any information on my great grandfather Anton, except that he married twice (both to the daughters of one of his older half-brothers). Yuck - marrying his nieces! Guess that was common practice in those days though. Anyway, I have your great grandfather as being born in 1832 and he died in 1894 at age 62. His funeral was on April 19, 1894 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. He married Antonie Krumsick. She was born in Brunswick [Braunschweig] Germany and they married in 1858. John and Antonie had seven children. 1)George U. Busch; 2)John B. Busch, Jr.; 3)Julius W. Busch; 4)Ulrich W. Busch, Sr.; 5)Anton Busch (not my great grandfather!); 6)Walter Busch; 7)Lily Busch... I don't know the birthdates of these seven children, or from which one! of them you are descended from. Can you provide me with that extra bit of genealogy?
