I do know that Wolf Bush (born 1829) married Esther Samuels (born 1827) both from Germany. At least two or three of their children were reportedly born in California: Minnie born abt. 1857), Joseph, (born about 1858), and Hulda born about 1859. I can find no censuses for them before 1880 in New York. Their other children were born in New York :Henry (Born abt. 1861), Tobias (born abt. 1862), Amelia, aka "Nellie" (born about 1865), George (born abt. 1865), Louis (born about 1868). The 1880 census shows the family living in Milo, Yates, NY. I know that Amelia married Nicholas Dament in Bath, Steuben, NY in 1884. Nicholas died in 1909. He is buried in the Grove Cemetery in Bath, NY. I have only been able to find the 1880 census for the Bush family in NY. It appears that most of her other siblings moved on to the Washington, D.C. area and were usually in the saloon or liquor business(per censuses from 1900 on). I know that Minnnie married a man named Cohen, and Hulda married a man by the name of Dittenhoefer. I am most interested in Amelia and what became of her. I can not find where she or her parents are buried, and I don't see that she was buried at Grove cemetery....I would like to know if she had any children with Nicholas....did she remarry? Did she move? Any help would be appreciated..
