In 1880 they were living in Amherst, Lorain Co., Ohio. Peter worked in the quarry. At the time of the census they had 5 children, Catherine, Stephen, Nicholas, Mary, and Peter. Later in 1880 another child was born, Anna J. I think Catherine married John Dolezall, Stephen married Sophie Oberacker, Nicholas married Julia Dvorak, Peter P. married Mary Hanley, Anna J. married Fred Bauer. Anna Bauer died in Akron but the others were in Cuyahoga Co. Anyone else researching this family? I'm descended from Emma Schmitz's brother Stephen.
