John was born April 11, 1915 in Syracuse, Nebraska to Edward and Lola Busch. He grew up in Mound City, MO and graduated from Belleview High School in 1933. He was united in marriage to Mildred Rhodes on June 19, 1939. They had three daughters, Katy, Linda, and Stephanie. He drove a truck for some years and then started farming in Oregon, MO. Later he and his wife moved to a farm in Savannah, MO. His wife passed away while living there. On June 30, 1970 he was united in marriage to Lula M. Guyer. They made their home in Oregon, MO for 5 years. In 1976 they moved to a 365 acre farm near Cole Camp, MO. In 2002, because of poor health, they moved to Warsaw, MO to be close to Lula's daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Larry Hunt. John was inducted in the Marine Corp on April 12, 1945 to serve National Emergency years. He received honorable discharge on June 8, 1946. He was a World War II veteran. John was a member of the Edmonson Baptist Church near Lincoln. He was also a member of the Gideons International Association for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula on August 8, 2004, a daughter, Katy Boone, five brothers and one sister, two step-children, Shirley Burres and Wayne Guyer. Surviving is his two daughters, Linda Britt of the state of Washington, Stephanie Smith of the state of Alabama and step-daughter, Janet Hunt, and one sister, Marjorie Field of Mound City, MO, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren, fifteen step-great grandchildren, and two step-great, great grandchildren. Memorial service for Francis John Busch will be held at the Warsaw Assembly of God Church, 703 Elm Dr., Warsaw, MO, Tuesday, Oct 23, 2007 at 11:00a.m. Rev.
