Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VEH.2ACIB/371 Message Board Post: SCHELL_CLARA KATHERINE (nee Busch) passed away peacefully at Parkside Extendicare on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Emilee Busch; ten siblings and her husband Alfred in 1987; Clara will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Al (Dianne) Schell of Saskatoon, SK; granddaughters: Karen and great grandson Zak of Vancouver, B.C., and Donnalyn (Dean) and grandson Nathan of Edmonton, AB and daughter Beryl (Bill) Ramage of Regina, SK; granddaughters: Jodie of Vancouver, WA, U.S.A. and great granddaughters Ashley and Stefani, and Shannon (Daryll) of Saskatoon, SK and great grandson Noah and great granddaughter Emma. Clara was born on April 8, 1914 one of fourteen children. She attended Busch School and St. Boswells Trinity Lutheran Church in the Hodgeville area until she married Alfred Schell in 1939. They farmed in the Woodrow district until 1961 when retirement saw a move to Moose Jaw, SK. Clara moved to Regina to b! e closer to her daughter shortly after Alfred's death. Failing health ended in approximately 4 1/2 years at Parkside Extendicare where she was embraced and tenderly cared for by wonderful staff. "Many, many thanks to all of you who gave that little extra touch or smile. " Mom always enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her garden. She spent many hours crocheting doilies and sewed most of her own clothes for many years. Cooking and baking was her passion. Clara always made time to make lunch for anyone who could spare a moment. We shall always remember the wonderful smells coming from Mom's kitchen. And so the journey has ended. A Memorial Service to celebrate Clara's life will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. in the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. Interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Moose Jaw, SK. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sask. Inc., 301 2! 550 12th Ave., Regina, SK S4P 3X1 in remembrance.
