He might have been from the family of Busch's that lived on the west side of Cleveland. They were quite a large family. Some of their family still own the Busch Funeral Homes located in Cleveland. I will look through what info I have and let you know if I have anything. Mike

Clendina, is my Grandmother's Mother's sister. My Grandmother's mother was Ella Magdeline (or Elsie), who married Otto Ferdinant Schwinge. I guess that makes my Grandmother - Clara Marie Schwinge Gebauer, your father's first cousin. I will ask her if she remembers your father. There has been so many variations of the Busch name. As a matter of fact, I spoke with "Aunt Lou", who I believe is Nora's daughter and also lives in San Antonio, just recently, and she told me that it is actually BUCH -- no S. However, my Grandmother, tells me it is BuSch. The death and birth certificates I've seen say BuCh. What a funny story about the inheritance. I'll share that with my Grandmother. She is 88 and lives with me in Marble Falls, Texas. I would LOVE further contact -- this stuff fascinates me!! My email address is magw@airmail.net. As far as Dale Gebauer Rebold -- not sure. I haven't heard that name before, however, with Gebauer being such a rare name in these parts, I wouldn't doubt a relation somewhere down the line. Would you be willing to share any family history you may have already collected?

W.C. (Dub) Jarvis was my Dad. I remember Nora, too - as she and Gram shared a house in San Antonio - next door to Newt and Hannah's. I came to this Busch Board in the off-chance I could trace my grandmother's roots through the Busch Brewing family. Gram used to delight in telling me the story of her being a 'distant cousin' to the Busch Brewing family... as she was a beneficiary from a Busch Estate settlement... exactly $1 dollar! How she'd cackle telling the story of her orphan inheritance. Would like further contact if you're amenable. Are you by chance related to Dale Gebauer Rebold? He was a classmate of mine in high school. Austin, TX. - Susan J.
