The funeral took place yesterday from the family residence to Brookside cemetery. Is there anyone related to this person? I also have a death certificate for the father William who died two days after his daughter Wilhelmina.
Rebecca Bush (b: 4/26/1801, d: 11/30/1850), daughter of Heinrich Busch and Magdalene Grett, married Johannes Braun (b: 4/28/1801, d: 1/25/1872), they had ten children: Augustas, George, Mary, Daniel, James Benjamin, William, Amos, Elijah, Benneville, and John. On August 30, 1801 Rebecca was baptized as Margaret at Goshenhoppen St. Pauls Mission, Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Her sponsors were John Adam Gret and Elizabeth Richert. Rebecca's gravesite can be found at St. John's UCC cemetery in Pricetown, PA. Johannes was not buried with Rebecca; his gravesite is located at what once was Salem Evangelical Church in Pricetown. PA
Heinrich Busch, also known as Henry Bush, (b: 10/4/1779, d: 9/28/1850) married Magdalene Grett/Greth (b: 1/15/1780, d: 1/19/1839) and had four children, Rebecca (b: 4/26/1801, d: 11/30/1850), Benjamin (b: 6/10/1803, d: 10/23/1881), Juliana (b: 11/20/1806, d: 6/13/1879), and Elijah G. (b: 7/1/1810, d: 9/3/1886). Heinrich was a farmer in Berks County, PA with 98 acres + 112 perches, plus another tract of land measuring 18 acres + 116 perches. After Heinrich's death the entire estate went to his oldest son Benjamin. Heinrich's gravesite is located at St. John's UCC in Pricetown, PA, while Magdalene is buried at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Bally, PA (Goshenhoppen).
The Busch family had many children as did their offspring and they seemed to use the same names over and over, Dorothea, Margarette, George, Andreas and so many more. And when they came to North America they went all over, some in U.S. and some in Canada. I think they left Germany before Germany was a country. I know my ancestors came from Germany in an area called the Rhineland-Pfaltz (sp). Hope this is of some help.
