Joseph and Lena were married on Aug. 21, 1878 in Franklin co., MO. William Henry Busch had five siblings. They are: Clara Busch, Joseph Busch Jr., Antonette Busch, Nellie Busch, and August A. Busch. William Henry Busch married Millie Lane Thornton on November 16, 1902. Millie was born on February 8, 1877 in Kentucky. She died on June 24, 1950 in St. Louis, MO. Her parents are John B. Thornton and Victoria Duncan. I have William Henry Busch and his wife Millie as having three children. The first is Raymond Lee Busch (born: July 4, 1904). The second is Walter Clement Busch (also seen his name as Robert Clemens Busch? - born: Aug. 12, 1907). The third child is Mildred Adele Busch (born: Sept. 30, 1910). Raymond is married to Mary Conway. Walter is married to Thelma Rose Davis. And Mildred had two husbands - the first is Herbert Leo Hagler and the second is Ernest Wilkerson. I would love to get more family genealogy from you on this family if you are willing to share. I am trying to put together the entire Anheuser-Busch genealogy (which William Henry Busch is a part of). There are a few Michael Busch names floating around out there. There is a lot of information on US immigration records which may help you and they were well documented when they landed in USA. I live in Canada and there doesn't seem to be as much information. I have been able to find some info in Germany, if you can pinpoint where your guy came from. A lot of Germans made their way to England and came over from there, so their ship was listed as departing from an English port, which can throw you off. However, most, or a lot of them came through Ellis Island, and since you know the year, you should be OK looking there. Good luck. I think mistakingly emailed you the information about the wrong person. I gave you the information on a John Baptiste Busch, Sr. that was born in 1832 who married Antonie Krumsick. But I think you were looking for his brother named Joseph Busch who was born in 1835 in Kastel, Germany and died in 1895 in Sullivan, Franklin County, Missouri. This Joseph Busch married Lena Auer. She was born in May of 1850 in Missouri. They were married on Aug. 21, 1878 in Franklin County, Missouri. Joseph Busch and his wife Lena Auer had six children: 1)Clara Busch - born: Apr. 1880; 2)William Henry Busch - born: Dec. 31, 1882 in Sullivan, Franklin Co., Missouri; 3)Joseph Busch - b: Apr. 1884; 4)Antonette Busch - b: Dec.1886; 5)Nellie Busch - b: Aug. 1888; 6)August A. Busch - born: Aug. 1891. At least I think this might be the Joseph Busch you were looking for. Although this Joseph's parents were Ulrich Busch, Sr. and 2nd wife Barbara Pfeiffer. I have been able to contact many of the still-living Busch's and gather more family information. Unfortunately none of them had any information on my great grandfather Anton, except that he married twice (both to the daughters of one of his older half-brothers). Yuck - marrying his nieces! Guess that was common practice in those days though. Anyway, I have your great grandfather as being born in 1832 and he died in 1894 at age 62. His funeral was on April 19, 1894 at Odd Fellows Cemetery. He married Antonie Krumsick. She was born in Brunswick [Braunschweig] Germany and they married in 1858. John and Antonie had seven children. 1)George U. Busch; 2)John B. Busch, Jr.; 3)Julius W. Busch; 4)Ulrich W. Busch, Sr.; 5)Anton Busch (not my great grandfather!); 6)Walter Busch; 7)Lily Busch... I don't know the birthdates of these seven children, or from which one! of them you are descended from. Can you provide me with that extra bit of genealogy? My personal email address is: pamandsirius@comcast.net --- If you'd like a copy of my 15-page genealogy I have gathered on the Busch's so far, just send me an email, okay ... Can you tell me any more about Henry, where he lived and died, when he came from Germany etc? Or even where you got your information. Anything would help. Apparently my great grandfather (Sebastian) came over with Henry in 1951, but stories vary depending on the source. I read one source that said 'Henry' lived next door to Adolphus in St Louis, but I cannot corroborate this. If it was Henry who brought Sebastian over at age 5, then he must have come to Canada for a while, as Sebastian lived here in Ontario most of his life.
