Busby in the 1860 census of Wilkinson county is who we've always believed was Georgia's father. I'm having a difficult time finding him in the 1850 census though. One researcher has concluded that he is DG Busby of Bibb county, but the kids ages match, and not the names. Dennis' youngest son's name from the 1860 census has been transcribed Bazewell or Passmore for quite some time, but after looking at the actual page, I believe it is more likely something like Bozeman or even Baynerd. The 1860 census shows Dennis with his second wife. We know she was not the mother of the known children because of a divorce filing from Wilkinson Co, where Dennis G. Buzbee filed for divorce. I've also looked in Houston County in 1840 for Dennis because he purchased property there in 1836, but I'm unable to locate him in that county at all, however there were about 4 busby men that were of the right age to be siblings. I'm still digging and looking for anything about Dennis G. even if Georgia's death certificate says John Busbee. Valleri
