June 28, 1814, in either VA or WVA. Was in St. Tammany Parish, LA, on 1850 Census, and died in Caddo Parish, LA in 1854. He had a son named John Hamilton Busbey, b. abt. 1846 in FL., and one named Zachariah b. abt. 1848 in FL, who apparently died young since he was not on John Hamilton Busbey's probate record in 1854. I would really like to know how my John Hamilton Busbey got to LA from WVA, and where he met and married Mary Anna Miller, a native of Switzerland. You are the only person I have found that knew anything of a John Hamilton Busbey. John Hamilton Busbey, Jr. was in Columbus, Ga with an Uncle Joseph Miller on the 1860 Census.
