Esther Shinn, sixth child of David and Mary Shinn, was born in Frederick County, Va., May, 1793; married, 12/9/1813, Samuel Busby, in Hampshire County, Va.; disowned by Hopewell for marrying contrary to discipline, 1813; moved to Harrison County, 1814, where Samuel Busby died, leaving one child. Esther married Moses Shinn, eighth child of Levi and Elizabeth, 1817; she died 10/1/1823 at Shinnston, Va. Children of Samuel and Esther (Shinn) Busby. 1613. She died 10/1/1823
