This deed was found in the Houston County Deed Book Goergia Jasper County This indenture made this 29th day of September AD 1824 Between William Simmons of the county and State aforesaid of the one part and Nathan Busby of the County of Houston and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Simmons for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Nathan Busby. Before sealing and delivery of these prescents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said William Simmons and himself fully satisfied having granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant , bargain & sell _______and confirm unto the said Nathan Busby & to his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of landsituate and lying in the county of Houston eighty eighth Wn (within) fifth District of said county drawn by said Simmons, butting and bounding s the plat and grant will more fully and at large appear together with all and singular the rights members and appertuances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to the same & the said William Simmons being the right true and lawful owner of the above bargained land and premises will warrant and forever defend the sam! e to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Nathan Busby and to his heirs and assigns forever. Witnesseth that the said William Armistead hath this day bargained sold and conveyed & confirmed and By these presents doth grant bargain Sell Convey and Confirm unto him the Said Nathan Busby, his heirs, executors Administrators and assigns all that tract lot parcel of land containing two hundred two and half acres. It being moore or less situate lying and being in the County of Houston in Said State known by Lot number eighty seven in the fifth district of said countyfor the consideration of three hundred & nine dollars for him in hand paid before the dealing and delivery of these presents together with all and singular the rights members privileges and appertuances from the said William Armistead his heirs !
