    2. Hi Vohn, My report for you states William Jasper 1845. I can't recall seeing a William Jasper Busby from Alabama in the 1880 census but will check my files and let you know if I can find out anything about him. Could be one of your relatives.!! Wayne

    3. Hi I think it was William J Busby on the 1880 census. There were so many William Busbys, I was quite amazed. The 1880 census is online http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp I thought it was interesting that Vohn and Lee both have William Jaspers, with different birth dates, although not related. No wonder it is so easy to think we connect where we don't. Later to day I will put some references from the Domesday book which was essentially the census of England in 1086. Incredibly, there are several Busbys.
