To answer your question about Phebe Miles--I am not even certain that Miles was her last name--I admit that I have not even tried to trace her parents. I keep promising myself to do that when I retire. That time seems imminent, so hopefully I will have an answer to this and a scantillion of other questions in the near future. Howard
