I am new to the list and also to Busby research. I descend through Nimrod B. Busby, s/o Sampson, s/o Nimrod. I descend through Nimrod and Elizabeth's son Claborn H. Busby and his wife Martha "Mattie" (Cottrell). I do not know anything about Nimrod B. and his wife, I think Elizabeth(?) except for a little info that Barbara has given me. Would love to know more about this Nimrod and his parents and siblings. I don't know a lot about my gggrandfather Claborn, except that my great aunt told me he was known as CLAY. On he and Mattie's marriage record he is C.H.J. and have no idea what the H and the J stand for. I know he had a sister Rhoda who married a Leonidas Harden and a brother John and a brother Emmer (?), but that is it. As you can see I need a lot of help!!!
