I have been working on this family for a friend of mine who is descended from child Lillie Busby who married Oscar Lee Pierce. Thanks for the dates for Georgia Ann Jackson and John Wesley Busby. I too had found the John W. Busby and wife Georgia in the Lamar Co., Alabama census. I didn't put what census but I believe it has to be the 1880 census because my notes have John W. Busby age 33 b. GA both parents born GA and Georgia Busby age 30 b. AL both parents born SC. Thanks for the info. I too work on the Busby family genealogy but my Busby family was in Walker Co., Alabama.
