    3. Robert Almore Busby was indeed a half brother to Andrew Jackson. He was my great grandfather. He died on February 3, 1960 in Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico . He was buried next to his wife Annie Eligia Rayford Busby in Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia. Nathan, his father married 3 times. Not sure I remember all the details right now but I think his first two wives were named Margaget. One was a Queen and not sure that we know the surname of the other... I could be wrong with out looking and I do not have the time right now.... Roberts mother was hired as a house keeper after Nathan came home from the Civil War either wounded or very ill. His partent hired her to help with the little one still at home... I do remember the two just older than Robert was twins. Anyway he married the housekeeper, Rebucka Jane Gray in Jan, 29 of of 1871. In November of 1872 he died either of Typhode Fever or war wounds (there are several stories out there.) Robert was born November 2, 1871. After Nathans death Rebucka once again sought and got a job as a housekeeper and this is what she done the rest of her life. Robert did not know he had sibling until much later in life when one of the twins found him. Even then I am not sure that he knew about the number of siblings he had. As far as I know he met the one brother once in his life. He married and had four children... 3 sons and a daughter.l ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <BUSBY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 01, 2008 10:55 AM Subject: Re: [BUSBY] Robert E.
