My grandmother knew a woman named Kay Abercrombie who worked with her in Baytown, Texas, probably Babe's Place, in the 1940's. My uncle was left with Kay's family while she and my g/mother worked to keep the kids away from the bar life. My g/mother was b/1910 so I'm guessing Kay was born around the same time. Kay was married to a Paul [don't know if he's the Abercrombie or not, possibly a later marriage] There are pictures of Kay with a pregnant Martha; martha later appears in pictures with an infant named Billy Ray Busby There's a picture of Billy Ray Busby at age 15 1/2 at Chgo Vocational School [i'm guessing that means Chicago?] I also have a picture of Billy Ray with I guess his bride at my g/mother's house in Houston, Texas in the 1950's.
