Hi List I am currently researching the family of my step-children's grandmother, Gwen Busby b. 1903 Montreal, PQ., Canada. She was the seventh child of Thomas Henry Busby b.1867 Thrupp, Oxon., England and Catherine Emma Caulfield. She was brought up in Montreal and married Herbert Lidstone from the Newfoundland Lidstones. It's interesting to note that her father Thomas was also the seventh child of Thomas Busby b.1826 Adderbury, Oxon., England and Margaret Evans. Thomas' b.1826 parents were Thomas Busby b1799 Adderbury, Oxon and Hannah Robinson. I have some fairly good research dealing with Thomas Busby b.1826 and his siblings, Thomas Henry Busby b.1867 and his siblings and Gwendolyn Busby b.1903 and her siblings. Now my question is can anyone help with going back further with this branch of the Busby family. I have exhausted all the data I could find on ancestry.ca, ancestry.co.uk and ancestry.com. I am loathe to use information on the IGI because I cannot substantiate it. Thanking you in anticipation and I look forward to any replies to this email. Regards, Brian
