I am looking for William Busby, who was recorded in 1891, 1901 UK census returns as having been borm onboard ship in the Irish Sea in c 1841. I have almost given up on finding him in England before 1888 (marriage). But I wonder if he might have been one of your Busby line from 1841-1880s. His children were called James, Phillis, Rose, Hilda, Lucy. Given the first born's name, it is possible his father was James perhaps. And maybe he came to England to work on the canals (my family had links with them in the Langley area). Somewhat clutching at straws, ... Mike Brough (maternal grandfather was James mentioned above) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
