One more Benjamin that can not be missed: Benjamin Berry Busby. He is often going by just Berry. There were also inquiries asking about a Berry Busby who picked cotton in the bootheal where my Busby's are from and born including myself. He has a huge family and I think he even had nephews and nieces living with him at some point. Never did find Berry's father: I am thinking his father did not go by Busby but some other spelling. Benjamin "Berry" Busby born: 1848TN 1st wife unknown 2nd wife Mary M. (Mahala) Unknown married after his first three were born His childrens birth are from Ky to TN to AR-Clay Co., Arkansas. It looks like he moved around for about 6 years after marrying a second time and then settling down in Clay County. Have been trying to attach my Ambers Busby family to this family because we all lived in this area. Clay is right next to Dunklin Co., MO. --- On Sun, 5/31/09, Kimberly Barranti <kimbers671@yahoo.com> wrote: From: Kimberly Barranti <kimbers671@yahoo.com> Subject: Re: [BUSBY] BENJAMIN BUSBY To: busby@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, May 31, 2009, 12:25 PM These are all the Benjamin Busby's I have at the moment in my file: Busby, Benjamin Clement 1763 NC parents John Busby and Jame Clement Busby, Benjamin Clement 1810 Lexinton, SC parents John Jacob Busby and Mary Rawl Busby, Benjamin F. 1828 Giles Co.,TN parents Merideth Hampton Busby and Mary Polly Brooks Busby, Benjamin Greenberry 1849 Henderson, TN parents John Busby and Lucinda Nobles Busby, Benjamin F. 1867 Mississippi no information Busby, Benjamin Franklin 1867 Mississippi parents Seabren W. and Mary T.
