I think he moved from Shelby County TN about 1842 with at least one son, Merida (Meredith)and Merida's wife, Minerva Hunt who were married in Shelby County in the 1820's. One of their sons was Jeremiah Meredith Busby who was born in Shelby County in 1833 and who, after he had served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, married Elizabeth (Betsy) Hastings. Their oldest child was my grandmother Ella Busby. I am looking for the name of James Busby's wife and his parents.
