In 1871 he is living in Govan, Lanarkshire with his wife Mary. I suspect that John is Mary's second husband and that her first husband had the surname Marr. There is a daughter, Mary, but I believe she is the daughter of Mary's first husband, and that John Busby is the step father. John was a Paker Printer. At this point, I have no further information but would be very grateful if anyone could shed a little light on this person.
