Marie, I find no reference to a Linda Jane Busbee in the book "The Indubitable Busbee's", there is one reference of a William Allen, a passage written about the battles at Maryland Heights, Sandy Hook and Weaverton. The battle of South Mountain, and seizure of Crampton's Gap and Pleasant Valley.--the passages originally appeared in "The Army of Northern Virginia, 1862"... don't know if these might be written by your William Allen or not, but would be happy to copy the pages and snail mail to you, or type out and email.
