Still seeking information about a Rebecca Busby (or various spellings thereof) who married William W. Groover, (born 1809) sometime after 1852. William's first wife, Elizabeth Bird Heard Groover (born 1813), died in May, 1852 in Simsboro, Texas. Unknown whether he returned to his hometown of Grooverville, Thomas County, Ga. to marry Rebecca or if he met and married her in Tx. They had at least one child, a daughter named Martha Kyle "Mattie" Groover in 1855. Sometime after that year, William married a 3rd time to my unknown GG grandmother Banks. He died in 1877. I need to find a Busby researcher who has data identifying William's 3rd wife or anything that could lead me to her name and place of marriage & birth. I am unable to research the Banks family until I can identify her and my gg (unknown first name) grandfather Banks. I am assuming Busby would be her maiden name but there might be a chance she had been married to a Busby before marrying William, considering he was in his mid 40's by then.
