In the early 1970's, when my lineage quest began, I was given the name of my Great-Grandfather, George Washington BUSBY, Mobile Co., AL by my Grandmother Annie Lou (MARSHALL) BUSBY. Looking for G.W. BUSBY's parentage, I came first to one born to Ezekiel BUSBY, Pike Co., MS, and then to one born to Bartlett BUSBY, Shelby Co., AL. Finally I arrived at my family line in MS with my George Washington BUSBY, b.5 Dec 1852, to Zachariah BUSBY and Sarah STREET. 1850 + 1860 Pike Co.
